StayUp ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Discord bot application.

1. Information We Collect

To provide our monitoring service, we collect and store only the minimum necessary data required for functionality.

1.1 Automatically Collected Data

When you invoke a command or interact with the Service, we collect:

• Discord User ID: To associate monitors with your account and manage tier limits.
• Discord Guild ID: To verify membership and permissions context for commands.

1.2 User-Provided Data

When you configure a monitor, we store:

• Target Bot ID: The ID of the application you wish to monitor.
• Webhook URLs: If you opt for Webhook notifications (stored securely).
• Role IDs: If you configure specific role mentions for alerts.
• Notification Preferences: Your choice of alert method (DM, Webhook, or Both).
• Monitoring History: Timestamps of the last known status ('last_seen') to calculate downtime duration.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:

• Service Provision: To check the status of your target bots and send alerts to the destinations you configured.
• Account Management: To enforce plan limits (Free vs. Premium) and prevent abuse.
• Technical Operation: To diagnose issues and improve bot performance.

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or analytical tracking. We do not read, store, or process the content of your private messages or server messages outside of command interactions.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We do not share data with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:

• Compliance with Law: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• Discord API: As a Discord bot, all interactions are processed through Discord's API and are subject to Discord's own Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

Your monitoring configurations are retained for as long as you use the Service.

• If you remove the bot from your server, we do not automatically delete your external configuration (as monitors are tied to your User ID, not the Guild).
• You may manually delete any monitor using the /unmonitor command, which immediately removes the associated record from our database.

5. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Your Rights

You have the full right to access and delete your data stored by the Service.

• Access: You can view all data currently stored associated with your User ID directly through the bot interface.
• Deletion: You can remove specific monitors or configuration at any time. To request a comprehensive data wipe, please contact our support team.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
